LUBY – Pale Lubelska Brick Tile

Beautiful reclaimed clinker bricks originally formed from local clay and used in barns and dairies across rural communities. Each piece carries with it a quiet sense of history and authenticity, shaped by time and use. Exceptionally versatile, the tile lends itself to a variety of laying patterns—whether in a simple stack or running bond, a more intricate crosshatch, or a traditional and diagonal herringbone. It can also be laid offset, both horizontally and vertically, allowing for a considered and tailored finish to suit the space.

Once sealed, it is particularly well suited to high-traffic environments such as busy family kitchens, where it is both practical and easy to maintain. Over time, the surface develops a gentle patina, becoming ever more beautiful with age—a truly timeless flooring solution for both traditional and contemporary interiors. We have seen this tile used to remarkable effect in open-plan barn conversions, where it flows seamlessly across entire ground floors, as well as in kitchens, pantries, cellars, boot rooms, living spaces, and even bedrooms and bathrooms. The palette ranges from soft blush pinks through gentle sandy hues to warm ochres and delicate creams, creating a naturally varied and refined surface. As with all our tiles, it offers a richer, more authentic aesthetic than the flatter, monotone finishes often found in standard brick or reclaimed terracotta flooring.
