WHY WE CHOSE MUDD GROUT & ADHESIVES
We started recommending Building Adhesives Ltd (BAL) products over 15 years ago in the days when Charles Howey was laying Lubelska Brick Tile Floors for customers. He soon discovered that the grouts were of the highest quality and that they had a coarseness that suited the rusticity and patina of the tiles. Not only that but also that they had an ability not to shrink like other grouts. The adhesives were also of the highest quality and no matter what the substrate, our reclaimed terracotta and brick tiles went down with ease and more importantly stayed down.
Back in 2005 it was not possible for us to supply the BAL products as they were made exclusively for large nationwide DIY & Tile stores and still are to this day. However, we decided that we must recommend them as we found other products less suitable. Recently, Building Adhesives Ltd have introduced a new range of products called ‘MUDD’ Adhesives & Grouts. We have now tested these new Grouts and adhesives alongside our own products and find them to be of the highest quality and like their more expensive counterparts, very fit for the laying of our floors.
In our experience it is too easy to confuse when dealing with adhesives so we will only be stocking and supplying one type.
