AN ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY COMPANY

The European Commission has identified that one of the largest waste streams within Europe is Construction and Demolition Waste (CDW). https://ec.europa.eu/environment/waste/construction_demolition.htm

At Lubelska we take our environmental footprint very seriously. All our floors, whether they are brick tiles, terracotta tiles, oak parquet or oak boards are all reclaimed within the borders of Europe. The owners of the business have managed to sustain this approach over the last 17 years and since the formation of the company have carried on with the policy of only providing reclaimed floors.

We also take the impact of our packaging seriously and the crates we pack, come from Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC) managed forests. This means that for every tree chopped down to produce our crates, three more trees are planted. Because we crate our reclaimed brick and terracotta tiles, we use no plastic banding to produce packs of tiles or plastic bubble wrap to protect them. Our samples are packed in recycled cardboard boxes and we use eco-friendly fillers to protect them.

Our GoProtect range of sealers and cleaners are also eco-friendly and as they are water-based, environmentally friendly. They have been designed with our products in mind. Making them as efficient and as fit for purpose as they can be.

At every turn in our business strategy, we try to tick as many ecological boxes as we can so that you can rest assured your reclaimed floor is truly sustainable.

If you have any questions about our sustainability, please make contact.
